Further to a number of concerns raised by both Merseyside Police and members of the public in response to the recent terror attacks across Britain and Europe, it has been agreed to make amendments to the existing one-way traffic orders on Whitechapel, the introduction of a speed limit within the pedestrian areas of Liverpool City Centre and the amendment to the existing times that the hydraulic bollards on both Mathew Street and Harrington Street lower to allow for deliveries.
As in previous year’s and as a separate issue from those above. The timings for the hydraulic bollards on Lord Street and Church Street will from the 9th November 2017 until Friday 23rd December 2017 change in that they will rise at 10am and then lower at 8pm Monday – Sunday as part of lead up to Christmas late night shopping in the City. Please ensure that you notify your delivery companies in advance in order to prevent any issues.
