Are you an SME manufacturer in the Liverpool City Region? Or do you work with businesses that are? Are Industry 4.0 technologies on your radar? If not, LCR 4.0 can help.
Part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), LCR 4.0 is a business support programme specially designed to help manufacturers in the Liverpool City Region to take advantage of the opportunities associated with the current revolution in digital technologies.
Dubbed as the next industrial revolution, Industry 4.0 is transforming modern manufacturing by enabling the development of smarter products, smarter processes and smarter supply chains.
The collaborative project provides SMEs access to free support from some of the region’s leading knowledge and scientific assets including the University of Liverpool (through its Virtual Engineering Centre), Liverpool City Region Local Enterprise Partnership (LCR LEP), Liverpool John Moores University (Faculty of Engineering and Technology), the Science and Technology Facilities Council’s Hartree Centre and Sensor City.
Each SME signed up to LCR 4.0 receives bespoke support from the project partner/s that can provide the technical expertise in whatever Industry 4.0 technology most suits their needs and business challenges.
Some businesses that are currently moving through the programme are already experiencing the benefits and taking new products and processes through to further development or patent stages.
If you know a business that is looking to grow, be more efficient or access expertise that could revolutionise the way they work, let them know about LCR 4.0.
