- To provide staff with the underpinning knowledge on recognising potential aggression and violence.
- To enhance their communication skills and provide them with the practical techniques to diffuse and manage workplace aggression.
- To provide staff with an understanding of how to communicate with people in crisis
- To provide staff with the ability to recognise and diffuse internal workplace conflict
This training is specifically designed to show participants that the majority of conflict can be managed or diffused if appropriate communication methods are employed at the correct times. The training will show participants that frustration and anger are often direct by-products of poor communication and a failure to demonstrate empathy to those we deal with.
Each candidate will receive a comprehensive work book which is specifically designed to facilitate post course personal reflective practice. The idea being to engender ongoing personal and professional development.
This training is just for Liverpool BID Levy Payer’s employees*.
