Liverpool agency, Connect and the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency were recognised last week at the 2019 Digital Impact Awards for their work on DVLA’s Personalised Registrations sales service.
The business-critical platform, which celebrates its 30th anniversary this year, allows customers to search for and purchase personalised registrations online.
The service encounters enormous peak demand on the release of new personalised registrations. As well as hosting the site, Connect was tasked with creating and implementing a new design for the site, and this award recognises that work.
The Digital Impact Awards programme is judged by a panel of digital communications experts from some of Europe’s biggest companies and organisations, including Microsoft. The ceremony is in its seventh year and sets the industry-wide benchmark in digital stakeholder engagement.
Connect’s Managing Director, Janet Symes said:
“We are absolutely delighted to accept the Bronze Award for “Best Use of Digital from the Public Sector” for our work with DVLA. We are very proud of our long-standing partnership with the team and we’re thrilled that the service’s recent redesign has been recognised by the Digital Impact Awards judges.”
Head of DVLA Personalised Registrations Sales, Damian Lawson said:
“This recognition is well deserved. Connect play an integral part in the success of our Personalised Registrations service. The team are professional, have embraced our business and totally understand our requirements. Their support allows us to deliver a 24/7 online service for one of our highest profile services.”
