Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Monday 21 February 2022, England will be following the ‘Living with COVID’ plan commencing Friday 24 February.

 

See below what that means:

From 24 February, the legal requirement to self-isolate following a positive test result will end.

From 24 February, the legal requirement to test for 7 days after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive will end.
From 24 February, we will see the end of routine contact tracing.

From 1 April, free testing (exception for those who are vulnerable to COVID-19, and some high-risk spaces) will end.

From 1 April, the recommendations that certain venues use the NHS COVID Pass will end.
