Digital and Creative events organisers Creative Kitchen have released details of the start of their 2017 events programme, seeing the return of their popular Developer Breakfasts and Made Here events, as well as involvement in Prolific North Live.
The first of these events will take place on Tuesday 31st January, with their first Developer Breakfast of the New Year at 92 Degrees Coffee. The breakfast will see members of Liverpool’s digital and creative community come together, sharing their knowledge, ideas and experiences.
The Creative Kitchen team will continue with its support of independent venues with their ever-popular Made Here event at Scandinavian-inspired gathering space Hus on Wednesday 8th February. The event will include speakers from digital agencies Angel Solutions, Cleversteam, and freelance collective Nine Dots Creative. They will be offering their insight into their journey in digital and how they got to where they are today.
Creative Kitchen will also be involved with the highly anticipated Prolific North Live, which takes place in Manchester over Wednesday 15th – Thursday 16th February.
The Creative Kitchen team will be hosting a stage at the expo, teaming up with Freelance Friday to host Freelance Hour, a session packed with useful advice and inspiration around life as a freelancer. The session will see Michael Henderson from creative and digital insurance specialists from Riskbox UK, and Robyn Dooley from Liverpool-based skills gap startup Innovators Hub, who will be providing their first-hand experience and advice.
Curator of Creative Kitchen Gavin Sherratt will also be speaking at the expo, offering an insight into collaboration and developing a peer group community.
Gavin, who is also Managing Director of award-winning development agency and digital consultancy Mashbo, commented: “We had a great 2016 at Creative Kitchen and we can’t wait to add to that success with some amazing events that we have planned for this year. We’re passionate about growing the already incredible digital and creative sector that exists in the region, and getting started on our 2017 events programme – which includes our involvement in Prolific North Live.
We’re extremely excited to be involved in such an amazing event which is a key moment in the creative and digital sector calendar. We’re looking forward to meeting even more amazing individuals and business that we can work with to grow the sector and benefit those who are a part of it”
