Following last year’s hugely successful jobs fair, St Johns Shopping Centre will be hosting the largest jobs fair in the city region on Friday 27 September. There will be over 30 employers in attendance, 1,300 visitors and over 700 jobs available!
St Johns Shopping Centre will be hosting the event in the largest conferencing suite at the Holiday Inn Hotel right opposite Lime Street station; the gateway to the city for many. The final number of employers taking part is to be confirmed but given the interest, St Johns are expecting around 30 employers to be represented, over 1300 visitors to attend and a likely 700 jobs being made available.
In addition to St Johns Shopping Centre’s own retailers, the shopping centre are reaching out to employers from across the retail, leisure and hospitality sectors to take the opportunity to have a brand presence at the fantastic event and recruit for their stores.
As a community shopping centre, St Johns are committed to improving the lives and economic fortunes of local people. St Johns work very closely with DWP throughout the years and this event is the culmination of all that work. The 30 staff that JCP and partners provide for the fair are crucial to its success. This is the perfect example of public and private sector partnership.
