#GetOutThere18: Photo Competition

Following the success of last year’s #GetOutThere17, Liverpool & Sefton Chambers of Commerce are once again holding a photo competition to encourage us all to get out and about and enjoy the early Autumn weather!

There is an increasing amount of evidence to support the wider health benefits of cycling and walking, for both our physical and mental health. Even if you can’t cycle or walk to work there are lots of opportunities to take a break from the office at lunchtime or even on the journey to the bus stop or station.

Whatever the reason you are out and about cycling and walking, we would love you to take a photograph and share your experience with us.

This year we have three categories:

  • “Joy”: we want this to reflect the fun and quirky element of your journey whether out with friends or work colleagues or simply the environment around you!
  • “Beauty”: we live in a great city region with its mix of urban and rural landscapes so plenty of scope to find the image that captures the beauty of our region
  • “Liver Bird”: we want to see as many images of the Liver Bird as we can – the more unusual the better! Just walking around the city you will be amazed at just how many of the famous birds you can spot!

To be eligible the photograph must have been taken in the Liverpool City Region between June and September 2018, and reflect some part of your working day – after that we want you to use your imagination!
