Available now at Pieminister on Bold Street, the Sunday Best is any of Pieminister’s award winning pies on a pile of delicious mash, topped with a Yorkshire pudding filled with swede mash, roast garlic & rosemary potatoes, finished with free range British pork crackling and a pig-in-blanket. Available all-day every Sunday at Pieminister, there are 16 award winning pies you can rev-up to roast status.
From classic British beef, wild venison or free range British chicken pies, to gluten-free and meat-free marvels to Kevin the vegan pie, the Sunday Best is something that absolutely everyone can sit down and enjoy together, for just £9.95.
For an extra £4.95 have a Sticky Toffee or Hot Chocolate pud smothered with sweet sauce and ice cream. Or chose something equally as irresistible from the Ice Cream Sundae menu, which now includes the vegan Gold Digger made with salted caramel vegan ice cream and millionaire shortbread. Wow.
Also brand-new to the autumn menu is a trio of Loaded Fries. Be Cheesus is a generous heap of fries loaded with pulled ham, dirty cheesy sauce and crisp shallots. El Toro’s fries are loaded with braised beef, chorizo, jalapeños, olives and cheesy sauce. And last but not least, the fries in the vegan Cauli Gosh are loaded with crisp spiced cauliflower, curry sauce, pickles and Sriracha. For the full-on Fully Loaded experience just add a pie (£11.95).
You’ll find a great range of small plates (three for £9.95) and sides as well as Pieminister’s beloved pimp sticks (pigs-in-blankets, halloumi cheese or onion rings, on a stick and speared into your pie). They’re £1.50 each or enjoy all three for £4.
Hot off the pie press: Pieminister’s delighted to announce that yet again their pies have won a whole host of Gold Stars in the 2018 Great Taste Awards. Every pie in the range is an award winner and like the pies, everything else on the menu is carefully created using sustainably sourced ingredients. All the meat is British and the chicken and pork is free range too. And the fish is 100% sustainably sourced (the new Catch 22 fish pie is crammed with king scallops, salmon, smoked hake and prawns under a Cheddar mash top. Served with garden peas it’s £10.95).
