Liverpool first Commercial District Restaurant Week is to be staged in the new year.
The Liverpool BID Company is to promote the themed event from 25 – 31 January.
Restaurants, cafes and diners based in the Commercial District are being invited to get involved by:
- Offering a lunch deal
- Giving away a prize
- Hosting a master class
- Offering a set menu (e.g. 2 course meal for £10)
The BID Company will be using its own online platforms, which reach more than 75,000 people a week, as well as the This Liverpool App and local media to publicise the offers.
The themed week aims to address the slowdown in dining out after Christmas and follows the success of the BID promoted Student Take Over Week in which more than 80 businesses provided bespoke offers.
Tracey Crosbie, Events Manager at Liverpool BID Company, said: “Liverpool Commercial District Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to showcase the quality and variety of the city centre’s food sector in what is traditionally a quiet month.
“t’s a win-win for both the eatery and the diner and we’ll be looking to build on the success by hosting future Restaurant Weeks.”
