Kingdom on Harrington Street in the commercial district of Liverpool city centre is about to offer the best of both worlds. Always a venue to be on trend and listen to what their customers want, the venue is from the end of May to become two clubs in one.
After recently celebrating being 11 years old the venue will now offer house in the main club room with a new RnB room being added at the back of the venue hosted by No Scrubs.
Having gone through several changes over the past few years the main club room has a Moroccan themed setting. This was recently added to by en vogue artist Paul Curtis. Paul has added to the theme with a host of animals and features. The club has also had a huge tropical flower installation by The Bloom Room. Guests can also expect a whole new look for the new RnB room.
Kingdom Bar Manager Kerry Hughes said:
“We have been asked more and more of late for a mix of house and classics as well as old school RnB. So, we sat down with our architect and have come up with a second concept that will house around 100 people at the back of the venue. This will all be soundproofed off from the main room and will have its own DJ’s playing everything from TLC and Usher to Montell Jordon. Work starts next week and will be ready for the end of May Bank Holiday when we have a big launch night planned.”
Kingdom are looking forward to revealing their whole new DJ line-up which includes Ant Armstrong, Sean Myers, Amelia Preston & Sacha PVJ in the main room, and DJ 2Kind & Hannah Lynch in the RnB room.
Since opening at the end of 2007 the venue has held some of the biggest nights in the city. With guests ranging from the Spice Girls and Steven Gerrard to Scott Dissick from the Kardashians.
