BID Radio Link Annual Health-Check 

Annual health-check to take place on w/c 29 January. Frequency will be updated at the same time due to the mast being moved to Anglican Cathedral to improve coverage.

DISC – Security Intelligence Network

Day time and night time economy businesses get access to the DISC Intelligence network. DISC provides security staff and other users with access to a number of image galleries where known and suspected offenders are on display.

Some highlights included the Follow the Star installation on Bold Street, Church Street and Castle Street; the Christmas Trees in Williamson Square and St Paul’s Square or the workshops at Metquarter and St Johns to name just a few.

Liverpool 2018

We have signed a deal with Liverpool City Council to become one of the official sponsors of Liverpool 2018. The agreement will throw the international spotlight on the BID areas and increase involvement of BID levy payers with the events programme. The first fast-approaching event is Chinese New Year.

Liverpool City Council’s latest guidance on the new bollard protocols are below:

Main Retail Area
Whitechapel, Lord Street, Top Church Street
These bollards will lower when approached between 18.00 and 10.00

Main Retail Area
School Lane, Lower Stanley Street & Middle Church Street
These bollards will lower for exit only.

Cavern Quarter
Harrington St, Temple Court, Button St and Mathew St
These bollards will lower when approached between 06.00 and 10.00

Bold Street, Ropewalks, Eberle Street & Stanley St Quarter
There are no changes to these bollard systems

Businesses are reminded to observe the one way systems in place throughout the city centre.
