The UK Protect Counter Terrorism Briefing event will be taking place at ACC Liverpool* on Wednesday 24 April from 9.00am-1.00pm. The event will be hosted by Counter Terrorism Policing North-West (CTPNW) who are currently working in partnership with Liverpool City Council. The CTPNW are also supported by Liverpool BID Company, ARUP, The Chamber of Commerce and The ACC to create the UK Protect Counter Terrorism Briefing.
BID Levy Payers are invited to attend the free event, which will focus on the current threat from terrorism to the United Kingdom. The aim of the event is to highlight some of the partnerships between police and private sector workings which has occurred to both prepare for and mitigate against further attacks. Attendees of the event will also hear from keynote speakers from the National Counter Terrorism Policing Headquarters, along with additional presentations in relation to business and cyber-crime.
Attendees of the briefing will have the opportunity to receive key updates on issues affecting the business sector. There will also be time for attendees to network with like-minded individuals with the aim of forming a more resilient business community. Ultimately, the briefing will also allow businesses and law enforcement to work together to improve the ability to detect, deter and disrupt those who wish to attack the UK.
