Intelligence Sharing Briefings – Watches

What is it?

The BID holds Intelligence Sharing Briefings – Watches to discuss safety issues across the BID Areas as well as highlighting upcoming opportunities with BID Levy Payers.

Intelligence Sharing Briefings – Watches are part of the BID Safety Partnership which includes:

  • Two BID Police Officers, who provide BID Levy Payers a direct response to enquiries about safety, anti-social behaviour and security issues.
  • Radio Link network with over 130 active businesses to provide reassurance and intelligence sharing,
  • Digital platform DISC which allows intelligence sharing across businesses in the city centre.
  • Radio Link network is linked with the Council’s CCTV (City Watch) through a BID levy funded officer during retail hours on Thursdays and
    on the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • Regular Intelligence Sharing Briefings – Watches to discuss safety issues across the districts and to highlight upcoming opportunities with BID Levy Payers. There are bespoke Watches for Banks, Betting Shops, Hotels, Building Lobbies and Retail Shops.

Every other month Liverpool BID Company hosts intelligence briefings for banks, building societies and currency exchanges in the BID Area to discuss safety issues affecting your business, share intelligence and discuss upcoming opportunities.

Bank Watch has been created to allow everyone to work together and represent your voice as a collective.

Every other month Liverpool BID Company hosts intelligence briefings for betting and gambling establishments within the BID Area to discuss safety issues affecting your business, share intelligence and discuss upcoming opportunities. The meeting take place at Genting Casino in Queen Square.

At this meeting the latest issues and intelligence for the BID Area will be discussed as well as known offenders targeting businesses. Every other month Liverpool BID Company hosts intelligence briefings for building managers, staff involved in the management of buildings and custodians of private and/or public spaces to discuss safety issues affecting your business, share intelligence and discuss upcoming opportunities. Lobby Watch has been created to work together and represent your voice as a collective.

At this meeting the latest issues and intelligence for the district will be discussed as well as known offenders targeting businesses.
