As a business, it can often be hard to understand the fine line between “banter” and harassment, particularly within a workforce where no two employees are the same. To help create some clarity, IoD Liverpool are hosting an event, on Tuesday 26 March, to help ensure a happy workforce in the post #MeToo world.
The event welcomes Charles Millett from Morecrofts Solicitors to offer some practical and insightful advice on what constitutes as acceptable practice within the workforce. Charles will be addressing these key questions:
→ What constitutes harassment and who decides this?
→ Is “banter” no longer acceptable in the workplace?
→ How can “banter” become a potential problem for an employer?
Also during the event, Charles will also cover the employer’s “statutory defence” and provide actionable tips on how you can all limit the risk of a claim against your company.
